Chinese electronics manufacturer Changhong on Tuesday unveiled a new range of artificial intelligence-powered smart home appliances at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 in Las Vegas, highlighting its push to combine advanced technology with human-centric design.

At one of the world’s largest technology exhibitions, Changhong presented an expanded portfolio of AI-enabled products under the theme “AI Technology + Human-Centric Design,” reflecting the company’s ambition to make smart homes more intuitive, emotionally engaging, and responsive to everyday needs, a press release said.

A key attraction was Changhong’s panda-themed AI appliance series, which integrates artificial intelligence with a cultural symbol widely associated with China. The series focuses on anthropomorphic interaction, environmental sensing, and adaptive control to create a more natural user experience. Its AI television features a virtual assistant known as “Panda Xiaobai” for continuous voice interaction, while the AI refrigerator uses cloud-based humidity control to preserve food freshness. An AI-powered air conditioner adjusts airflow to simulate a natural breeze, and an AI washing machine employs triple-power cleaning to enhance fabric care.

Changhong also introduced several flagship products, including a 100-inch RGB MiniLED television with an ultra-slim design, anti-glare screen, and enhanced voice interaction supported by large-scale AI models such as DeepSeek. Other highlights included the AI Air Manager 360° air conditioner, which combines temperature control with air-quality management, and a refrigerator using AI freshness algorithms and dual-system temperature control to prevent odor mixing and temperature fluctuation. An AI washer-dryer set was also showcased, capable of identifying fabric types and automatically selecting appropriate wash programs.

The company said the new products are part of its broader effort to build an integrated smart home ecosystem centered on user experience. Changhong has been expanding its global footprint through research and development, manufacturing, and service networks under its “Technology + Sports” branding strategy.

By blending artificial intelligence with distinctive design, Changhong aims to strengthen its international presence in the competitive smart home market, offering solutions that are both technologically advanced and emotionally resonant, the company said.
