Emirates announced Monday a range of summer promotions for passengers travelling to or through Dubai, including complimentary hotel stays at a luxury property, access to hundreds of discounts across the city, and flexible booking options aimed at boosting travel demand during the peak holiday season.

The Dubai-based airline said travellers booking return tickets between June 22 and July 12 would be eligible for free accommodation at the five-star JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, provided they travel between June 25 and September 30 and spend more than 24 hours in the emirate.

Under the offer, First Class and Business Class passengers will receive a two-night stay, while Premium Economy and Economy Class travellers will receive a one-night stay.

The campaign is part of Emirates' efforts to encourage passengers to extend stopovers or choose Dubai as a summer holiday destination, as the city seeks to attract more international visitors despite traditionally lower tourism demand during the hotter months.

"Whether visitors are seeking relaxation, adventure, entertainment, or a combination of all three, Dubai is the ideal start to any summer vacation," Emirates Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer Adnan Kazim said in a statement.

"We're inviting passengers to enjoy even more of the city with a complimentary hotel stay to take advantage of the exceptional range of shopping, entertainment, dining, and family-friendly experiences that define the Dubai summer experience," he added.

Emirates said travellers from selected markets would also be able to use its Dubai Experience platform to create customised itineraries, including 24-hour and 48-hour stopover plans.

The airline is also reviving its My Emirates Pass programme for summer 2026, which offers more than 600 discounts at participating restaurants, spas, retailers, and entertainment venues. Passengers can access the offers by presenting either a physical or digital boarding pass alongside a valid identification document.

The announcement coincides with the annual Dubai Summer Surprises 2026 festival, which will run from July 2 to August 30 and feature concerts, cultural events, fitness activities, and promotional campaigns across shopping centres and lifestyle destinations.

Dubai remains one of the world's busiest international travel hubs, with authorities continuing to invest in tourism and stopover experiences to sustain visitor growth.

Emirates said it currently serves more than 138 destinations worldwide and has maintained flexible booking policies introduced in recent years. Bookings made after April 2, 2026, include one complimentary date change across all cabin classes.

The carrier also recently launched a comprehensive travel insurance product in selected markets as it seeks to provide additional protection and reassurance for passengers during the busy summer travel period.
