Faisal Alamgir and his accomplices spent three and a half hours at Green Zone Resort near Hemayetpur before shooting Osman Hadi, mass media investigation has revealed.

CCTV footage and intelligence sources confirm four suspects stayed at the resort from 5:23 am to 8:54 am on the incident day (December 12), where attack planning reportedly took place.

Faisal's girlfriend Maria was also present during this session, investigators said.

After shooting Hadi around 2:20 pm, the shooter and his accomplice escaped within 12 hours by crossing the border.

Journalistic tracking shows suspects rode a motorcycle via Shahbagh to Agargaon Science Museum slope, then proceeded to Colonel Goli where Faisal's sister lives.

Suspects parked the motorcycle at Bonolota Residential Area and removed the fake number plate, which was later recovered from a manhole outside Faisal's sister's house. Around 3:30 pm, approximately one hour 10 minutes after the shooting, a middle-aged man hired CNG auto-rickshaw number Dhaka Metro-13-7076 from Science Museum slope stand.

CNG driver told investigators the passengers initially requested travel to Savar but were eventually dropped at Amin Bazar microbus stand. Vehicle travelled via Gabtoli, a route Dhaka Metro CNGs normally cannot use.

Suspects purchased masks from a shop near the stand and briefly spoke with police while wearing them. Only one CCTV camera captured footage showing the pair escaped in a private car between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm, police confirmed.

Police believe Faisal and his accomplice travelled towards Mymensingh's Haluaghat via Hemayetpur, eventually crossing through Bhutiapara border. Eyewitness accounts support investigation findings, though many witnesses appeared frightened to provide detailed information.

In-depth investigation into their movements and identification of additional accomplices continues.
