Indian budget carrier IndiGo has raised charges across several optional services, including excess baggage, infant tickets, unaccompanied minor travel and priority boarding, according to Business Standard.

IndiGo, India's largest airline by market share, said passengers exceeding their baggage allowance will now pay ₹800 per additional kilogram, up from ₹700.

The airline also revised charges for infants aged between three days and two years. Pre-booking an infant ticket now costs ₹2,250, up from ₹2,000, while booking at the airport counter costs ₹3,000, up from ₹2,500.

Fares for children travelling without an accompanying adult have also increased. IndiGo's unaccompanied minor service for domestic flights now costs ₹5,999 for children aged five to 12, up from ₹5,000. For international travel, the service costs ₹12,999.

Passengers using IndiGo's Fast Forward priority check-in and boarding service will pay ₹650 on domestic flights, up from ₹500, and ₹850 per sector on international flights.

The cost of a travel certificate has also risen, to ₹300 from ₹200.

The revised charges apply only to optional add-on services and are separate from IndiGo's standard ticket fares and baggage allowances, the report said.
