InterContinental Dhaka secured three major awards at Bangladesh Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Awards (BTTHA) 2025, marking its second consecutive hattrick victory in two years.

This was informed by Saadman Salahuddin, Director of Marketing at InterContinental Dhaka on Sunday through a press release.

Hotel won Leading Luxury Hotel, Leading MICE Hotel and Leading F&B Facilities categories at the awards ceremony organized by The Bangladesh Monitor in February this year. Recognition reaffirms InterContinental Dhaka's position as a benchmark in Bangladesh’s hospitality sector.

Second edition of BTTHA celebrated excellence, innovation and leadership across Bangladesh's rapidly expanding travel and tourism industries. Awards recognized organizations and individuals setting new standards in service quality, professionalism and guest experience.

David O'Hanlon, General Manager of InterContinental Dhaka, described the achievement as ‘a moment of immense pride’ for the entire team.

He credited the success to colleagues' passion, dedication and teamwork, along with guests’ trust and loyalty.

“These recognitions reflect the passion, dedication and teamwork of our colleagues, as well as the trust and loyalty of our guests,” O'Hanlon said. He added that the hotel remains committed to delivering exceptional luxury experiences and raising hospitality standards in Bangladesh.

InterContinental Dhaka, operated by IHG, offers bespoke guest services, state-of-the-art MICE facilities and diverse culinary destinations. Hotel's triple recognition highlights its consistent delivery of world-class luxury, exceptional meetings and events experiences, and outstanding food and beverage offerings.

Victory marks InterContinental Dhaka's continued dominance in Bangladesh's hospitality industry, maintaining its winning streak from previous year's BTTHA awards.
