Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with travel platform almatar to expand travel options and offer additional benefits to guests through digital solutions, the airline said in a statement.

The agreement, which aims to simplify booking procedures, was signed during WTM Spotlight Riyadh 2026 by Arved von zur Muehlen, Chief Commercial Officer at Saudia, and Faisal Alrajhi, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of almatar.

Under the MoU, guests will have access to preferential fares on Saudia flights, along with greater flexibility to amend or cancel bookings in accordance with applicable terms and conditions, according to the statement. Saudia said the arrangement would offer guests options tailored to different travel needs, from the planning stage through to arrival at their destination.

The collaboration also extends to users of the Nusuk platform, facilitating travel arrangements for pilgrims travelling to the Kingdom and supporting efforts to enhance their journey through digital tools and more integrated travel services, the airline said.

Saudia said the partnership forms part of its broader effort to expand access to its services through a growing network of collaborations and digital platforms.
