Surprise airport visit: Millat reviews baggage services

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat made a surprise visit to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday night, reviewing baggage delivery services and directing officials to improve passenger comfort and increase baggage trolleys.
The minister visited the airport at around 10:30 pm on Friday and inspected the baggage belt area, according to a press release issued by the ministry.
He engaged in conversation with passengers who were awaiting the retrieval of their luggage and inquired as to the duration of their wait following their disembarkation.
He also sought their views on the baggage delivery process.
According to the release, passengers expressed satisfaction with baggage delivery management and reported that their luggage was delivered within the designated time frame.
Millat stressed the need to further improve passenger services and directed officials to give the highest priority to passengers' comfort and satisfaction across airport operations.
He also instructed the authorities to promptly increase the number of baggage trolleys.
Relevant airport officials and personnel on duty were present during the visit.
