16 individuals, organisations win Bangladesh Tourism Awards 2026

Sixteen individuals, organisations and initiatives have received the Bangladesh Tourism Awards 2026 in recognition of their contributions to the sustainable development of the countryâs tourism sector, service quality improvement, innovation, digital transformation, local community participation, women and young entrepreneurs, and tourism conservation.
The awards were organised by the Bangladesh Tourism Board (BTB). Various individuals and organisations were nominated for the awards, after which a jury board comprising representatives of public and private sector stakeholders evaluated the nominations and selected winners in 16 categories.
The awards were presented on Saturday afternoon at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka at a discussion meeting and Bangladesh Tourism Awards ceremony organised to mark World Tourism Day. Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat handed the awards to the winners.
Shakawath Hossainâs Six Control Point for Food Cost Optimization won the award for Best Sustainable Tourism Initiative of the Year, while InterContinental Dhaka was named Best Five-Star Hotel of the Year. Hotel Agrabad received the award for Best Four-Star Hotel of the Year, and HANSA- A Premium Residence by UHTPLC was named Best Three-Star Hotel of the Year.
The Bengal Tours Limited won the award for Best Inbound Tour Operator of the Year, while ShareTrip Ltd received the award for Best Domestic Tour Operator of the Year. Fantasy Kingdom Complex was named Best Amusement Park of the Year.
Bangladesh Eco Adventure won the award for Best Young Tourism Entrepreneur of the Year, while Charubala Homestay and Tours received the award for Best Homestay of the Year. Abu Mohammad Salahuddin (Sumon) was named Best Tourism Content Creator of the Year.
BD Tickets received the award for Best Tourism Technology Initiative of the Year, while Nurani Sharmin Afroze was named Best Female Tourism Entrepreneur of the Year. MV Malisha won the award for Best Tourist Vessel of the Year.
Mohammad Sarwar Jahan (Mithu) received the award for Best Tour Guide of the Year, while Seven International Limited won the award for Best MICE Initiative of the Year. Naim Abir received the award for Best Tourism Journalism of the Year.
