25 more trolleys for Sylhet airport to ease passenger woes

Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Ariful Haque Chowdhury has handed over 25 more luggage trolleys to Osmani International Airport in Sylhet through the Wage Earners’ Welfare Board to reduce hardship for expatriates and other passengers.

The move aims to ease a shortage of baggage trolleys at the airport, which has caused passengers frequent inconvenience. Those concerned hope the additional trolleys will make passenger services easier and more comfortable.

The minister said the problems of passenger services at the airport were being taken seriously, drawing on his long experience of working with the people of Sylhet. He said efforts to end expatriates’ airport-related suffering would continue.

The Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment disclosed the information in a press release on Friday.
