Air Astra has launched a first-of-its-kind photography competition titled "Spot the Echo." The event is designed specifically for the country’s growing community of aviation spotters and photographers.

The competition coincides with a major milestone for the airline: the delivery of its second brand-new ATR72-600 aircraft, registered as S2-STE.

The aircraft is scheduled to arrive today, August 19, 2026, at approximately 3:00 PM.

Aviation enthusiasts have the chance to win significant rewards for their photography skills. Five lucky winners will receive round-trip tickets between Dhaka and Cox’s Bazar.

In an exciting addition for professional photographers, the first 10 registered "pro spotters" will be granted exclusive access to the rooftop of Hyatt Place Uttara, Dhaka.

This vantage point includes a complimentary beverage and offers a unique perspective to capture the arrival of the new aircraft.
