Air India has unveiled a curated list of film and television titles for passengers traveling in February as part of an expanded in-flight entertainment offering that the airline says now includes more than 3,200 hours of content across 17 languages.
In a press release, the carrier said it has recently added over 160 movies, 210 television episodes, and 39 audio albums to its onboard entertainment system, reflecting customer preferences across domestic and long-haul routes.
Among the featured titles this month is The Fantastic Four: First Steps, a Marvel-based superhero film directed by Matt Shakman and released in 2025. The airline described it as a visually rich action and science fiction title suitable for a broad audience.
Also highlighted is Pushpa 2: The Rule, the sequel to the Telugu-language hit âPushpa: The Rise," which continues the story of its central character amid heightened conflict and drama.
For motorsport enthusiasts, F1: The Movie, starring Brad Pitt and set in the world of Formula One racing, is part of the February selection. The airline said the film combines high-speed racing sequences with behind-the-scenes storytelling.
The television series Hal & Harper, featuring performances by Cooper Raiff, Lili Reinhart, Betty Gilpin, and Mark Ruffalo, is also available, offering what Air India described as a character-driven narrative suitable for episodic viewing during flights.
Rounding out the list is Jigra, a Hindi-language drama centered on sibling relationships and resilience.
The airline said its content library now includes around 1,800 movie and television titles, alongside more than 1,650 hours of audio programming spanning music, podcasts, and other genres.
Airlines have increasingly invested in in-flight entertainment systems as part of broader efforts to enhance passenger experience, particularly on long-haul routes where onboard amenities can influence customer choice. Air India, which has been undergoing fleet modernisation and service upgrades in recent years, said the refreshed entertainment catalogue is aimed at ensuring passengers remain engaged throughout their journey, whether on short domestic sectors or intercontinental flights.
The carrier, however, did not disclose further details about future content additions but indicated that updates to the library will continue to reflect passenger feedback and viewing trends.
