AirAsia to officially trade under new name effective July 14

AirAsia X Bhd will officially begin trading under a new companyâs name, AirAsia Group Bhd, on Bursa Malaysia from 9am on July 14 (Tuesday).
In a notice, Bursa Malaysia said the airlineâs ordinary shares will adopt the new stock short name of AAGB, replacing AAX, while its warrants will be renamed from AAX-WB to AAGB-WB.
The companyâs stock codes will remain unchanged despite the name change.
The rebranding follows the companyâs adoption of the new corporate name, with Bursa Malaysia updating the trading and quotation names of its securities effective July 14.
