All Hajj groundworks on track under roadmap: Religious Affairs Adviser

Religious Affairs Adviser Dr. A. F. M. Khalid Hossain said that all Hajj-related activities are progressing according to the approved roadmap.
Ministry of Religious Affairs is closely monitoring the completion of house-rent agreements for Hajj pilgrims.
He made the remarks on Wednesday afternoon during a courtesy meeting with the Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh, Dr. Abdullah Jaafar H. bin Abiyah, at the Secretariat.
Adviser stated that for the upcoming Hajj, issue of completing house-rent agreements for Bangladeshi pilgrims is being strictly supervised. All Hajj agencies have been instructed to sign house-rent agreements within the fixed timeline.
Significant number of such agreements have already been completed in both Makkah and Madinah. Remaining agencies have been directed to finalize agreements within deadline.
Saudi Ambassador emphasized importance of completing house-rent agreements in line with roadmap to ensure smooth Hajj management.
He expressed satisfaction over the overall progress of Bangladeshâs Hajj preparations.
Religious Affairs Adviser expressed gratitude to the Saudi Ambassador for playing an important role in determining Bangladeshâs Hajj quota for this year.
During meeting, discussions were also held on strengthening the existing bilateral relations between the two countries and on various issues of mutual interest.
Religious Secretary Md. Kamal Uddin, Additional Secretary of the Hajj Wing Dr. Ayatul Islam, and Joint Secretary Dr. Md. Manjurul Haque were present at the meeting.
