ATAB election candidates hold voter rally ahead of July 25 polls

A large gathering of members and voters of the Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh (ATAB) was held at the Police Convention Hall in Dhaka on July 21, ahead of the organisationâs election scheduled for July 25.
The event brought together members and voters from Dhaka and different parts of the country. Participants discussed the current state of the travel trade, membersâ expectations and areas for future development.
Attendees expressed support for building a stronger, transparent, accountable and member-oriented ATAB. They also pledged to play an active role in creating a united and modern organisation.
ATAB vice-president candidate Mohammad Jalal Uddin Tipu said the organisation belonged to all its members and that protecting its dignity, unity and membersâ interests was their highest commitment.
He expressed hope that the election would be conducted in a fair, free and acceptable manner through the collective participation of all members.
Tipu also urged ATAB members to attend the polling centres on July 25 and exercise their democratic right to vote.
The participants pledged to ensure a festive atmosphere during the election and expressed their commitment to contributing to the development of a united, modern and accountable ATAB.
