Aviation ministry sets 6-month deadline for visible changes

Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry has set ambitious six-month deadline to deliver visible changes in aviation and tourism sectors while implementing Election Manifesto 2026 commitments.
This was informed on Monday through a press release signed by Public Relations Officer of the ministry Tariqul Islam.
State Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat announced the tight timeline during ministry meeting held at noon today. âWe have to work towards bringing visible changes in civil aviation and tourism sectors within next six monthsâ, Millat said, emphasising economical spending during promise implementation.
Aviation minister Afroza Khanam Rita directed officials to divide manifesto commitments into short, medium and long-term targets. She urged staff to work enthusiastically to develop Prime Ministerâs vision and ideology. âWork with enthusiasm so that we can develop our honourable Prime Minister's thoughts and consciousnessâ, Rita told officials at conference room gathering.
Ministry secretary Nasrin Jahan, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) chairman Air Vice Marshal Md Mostafa Mahmood Siddiq and senior officials from ministry and subordinate organisations attended session focused on national commitment implementation.
