Aviation.com.bd to host second tour guide workshop in Dhaka

Following the completion of its first industry workshop earlier this year, aviation.com.bd has announced the second edition of its "Tour Guide Technique & Operation" workshop, scheduled to take place on 27 June 2026 in Dhaka.

According to a press relese, the one-day professional development program is being organized as part of aviation.com.bd's ongoing commitment to supporting the growth of Bangladesh's tourism industry through skills development and industry-focused training.

The workshop aims to provide aspiring and existing tourism professionals with practical knowledge and essential competencies required to work as professional tour guides.

Participants will gain insights into tour planning and execution, visitor management, communication techniques, customer service, safety considerations, and the operational responsibilities of a tour guide.

The workshop will once again be facilitated by Mr. Taufiq Rahman, Founder and Chief Executive of Journey Plus and General Secretary of PATA Bangladesh Chapter.

Building on the positive response received during the inaugural workshop, the second edition will continue to emphasize interactive learning through presentations, group activities, discussions, and experience-sharing sessions.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, 27 June 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Bishwo Shahitto Kendro, Banglamotor, Dhaka. Participants will receive resource materials, lunch, and a certificate of participation.

The registration fee for the workshop has been set at BDT 1,500. However, participants who complete their registration on or before 15 June 2026 will be eligible for an Early Bird Discount of BDT 500.

Commenting on the initiative, Harunur Rashid, Founder and CEO of aviation.com.bd, said, "The strong interest and encouraging feedback from our first workshop demonstrated the growing demand for professional tourism training in Bangladesh. Through this initiative, we aim to connect industry expertise with the next generation of tourism professionals and contribute to the development of a skilled workforce for the country's tourism sector."
