The Embassy of the Peopleâs Republic of Bangladesh in Riyadh has urged all Bangladeshi nationals holding visit, Umrah, and final exit visas whose permits have expired to depart Saudi Arabia by April 18, citing a temporary opportunity provided by Saudi authorities to leave the country without further complications.
In a notice issued on March 25, the embassy said Bangladeshi citizens whose visas expired after February 25, 2026, and who were unable to leave before the expiry date, have been given a final chance to exit the kingdom.
According to the statement, travelers are permitted to purchase a ticket and depart the airport directly before April 18.
The embassy stated that the arrangement is applicable to individuals who are currently overstaying in the country and hold visit visas, Umrah visas, or final exit visas.
âIn this situation, visa holders concerned are requested to leave Saudi Arabia again before April 18, 2026,â the notice said, warning that failure to depart within the stipulated period could lead to legal complications.
During peak travel and pilgrimage periods, particularly when a significant number of visitors arrive in the kingdom for Umrah and other purposes, Saudi Arabia frequently provides time-bound exit opportunities for foreign nationals whose visas have expired.
Bangladesh serves as one of the Gulf countries' most significant sources of expatriate workers and visitors.
