BD ambassador visits injured nationals after Kuwait Airport drone attack

Bangladesh Ambassador to Kuwait, Major General Syed Tareq Hussain, OSP, awc, psc, visited Bangladeshi nationals receiving treatment at Farwania Hospital and Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Hospital on June 3 and 4 after they were injured in a drone attack on Kuwait International Airport in the early hours of June 3.


Five Bangladeshi nationals were injured in the incident. Among them, two sustained serious injuries and are currently undergoing treatment at the two hospitals. Another injured person remains under medical observation, while the remaining two have been discharged after receiving necessary medical care.


During the visits, the ambassador inquired about the condition of the injured workers and conveyed the solidarity and support of the Government of Bangladesh. He assured them that the Bangladesh Embassy in Kuwait would continue to provide all necessary assistance.


The embassy said it is maintaining close coordination with hospital authorities and the concerned employers to ensure proper treatment and support for the injured Bangladeshis during their recovery.
