BOESL to recruit 112 for Malaysia at no cost

Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited (BOESL), the state-run recruiting agency, will send 112 skilled male workers to Malaysia without any migration cost to the workers, it said in a notice on Thursday.

According to the notice, the Malaysian company DHL Supply Chain (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd will hire the workers as operations assistants. Selected workers will receive a basic monthly salary of 1,700 Malaysian ringgit.

Applicants must be aged 22 to 35. The contract is for three years, with eight hours of work a day, six days a week. The employer will provide overtime pay, accommodation, basic medical care, and transport, BOESL said.

Applications can be submitted on BOESL’s online registration page from 10 am on November 6 to 4 pm on November 8. A software-based lottery will first pick 300 candidates, and the employer will then choose the final 112 after technical and oral tests, the notice said.

BOESL said candidates should not pay at any stage of recruitment and advised everyone involved against making any financial transactions.
