BTTF 2026 to Begin in Dhaka on October 29

The Bangladesh Travel & Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2026 will be held in Dhaka from October 29 to October 31, bringing together tourism stakeholders from more than 20 countries, organisers said.

The three-day fair will take place at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC) and is being organised by the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB). US-Bangla Airlines is the title sponsor of the event.

Details of the fair were announced at a press conference at Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport on September 7. TOAB President Mohammed Hanif presided over the press conference.

Organisers expect BTTF 2026 to feature more than 200 booths and stalls, with over 220 exhibitors, more than 250 qualified buyers, over 2,500 trade visitors and more than 60,000 public visitors.

More than 200 airlines, hotels and tour operators are expected to participate across four themed exhibition halls, according to TOAB.

Tourism-related organisations, tour operators and travel agencies from more than 20 countries are expected to take part in the fair. Participants from Nepal, India, Singapore, Maldives and the Philippines have confirmed their participation, while stakeholders from Türkiye, the UAE, China, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Thailand, Brunei, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Azerbaijan are also expected to join.

The organisers said the international participation would provide opportunities for destination promotion, business networking and the expansion of tourism partnerships between Bangladesh and overseas markets.

The fair is supported by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Ministry of Cultural Affairs, National Skills Development Authority, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, Bangladesh Tourism Board, Bangladesh Tourist Police and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport is serving as the Platinum Hospitality Partner, while OPAS Communications Ltd. is the PR Partner, M360ICT the Technology Partner and Convoy Service the Transport Partner.

TOAB said the fair aims to promote tourism, create business opportunities and strengthen regional and international collaboration through exhibitions, business-to-business networking, destination promotion and stakeholder engagement.

BTTF, which has held more than 13 editions, has developed into a tourism marketplace connecting buyers and sellers from the travel and tourism industry, according to the organisers.
