Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort is hosting “Ilish Utsab” from 17 September to 1 October, offering a range of traditional hilsha dishes as part of a celebration of Bengal’s culinary heritage.

Throughout the festival, guests can enjoy a dedicated hilsha menu daily from noon to 11 pm. The menu features Bengali favourites including Hilsha Khichuri, Shorshe Hilsha, Hilsha Fry, Hilsha Pulao and Doi Hilsha.

According to the hotel, the dishes combine traditional Bengali flavours with Dhaka Regency’s culinary approach. The festival menu includes Bhuna Khichuri with Hilsha Fry, Shorshe Hilsha prepared with mustard, Doi Hilsha and Hilsha Pulao.

The hotel said the festival is intended to bring together family and friends to experience the taste, tradition and nostalgia associated with hilsha.
