Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort and Medical College for Women and Hospital (MCW Hospital) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on September 3 to provide reciprocal discounts and special services to members of their respective communities.

The agreement was signed at the MCW Hospital premises in Uttara on Thursday.

Prof Dr Major (Retd) Sheikh Firoj Kabir, Principal and Head of the Surgery Department at MCW Hospital, and Brig Gen (Retd) Dr Md Mominur Rahman Mamun, Director of MCW Hospital, signed the MoU on behalf of the hospital.

Md Mizanur Rahman Siddiquee, Managing Director (Current Charge) of Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort, signed the agreement on behalf of the hotel.

Senior Vice Chairman Reza Karim and Trustee Member Dr Shaila Safia Choudhurry of MCW Hospital, along with Md Mahmud Hassan, Director of Sales and Marketing, and Morshedur Rahman, Director of MIS at Dhaka Regency, were present at the signing ceremony along with senior officials from both organisations.

Under the agreement, members, doctors and students of Medical College for Women and Hospital will receive exclusive discounts and special privileges on accommodation, dining, wellness and other hospitality services at Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort.

Meanwhile, Dhaka Regency's management, associates and their family members will be eligible for special services and discounts on regular and emergency medical requirements at MCW Hospital.

The two organisations said the partnership is aimed at developing a mutually beneficial relationship and expanding benefits for their respective communities.
