Embraer adds Execaire Aviation to service network in Canada

Embraer said Friday it had added Execaire Aviation to its authorized service center network in Canada, expanding maintenance support for business jet customers in the country.

The Brazilian planemaker said Execaire Aviation, based in Toronto, will provide line maintenance support for Embraer’s Phenom, Praetor, and Legacy executive jets, becoming the third authorized Embraer service center in Canada.

The move is aimed at strengthening aftersales support for operators in a market where demand for business aviation services has remained resilient while reinforcing Embraer’s North American maintenance, repair, and overhaul footprint.

“Becoming an Embraer Authorized Service Center is a major accomplishment for Execaire Aviation,” Execaire Aviation President Michael Fedele said in a statement, adding the partnership would expand support for operators of Embraer aircraft across Canada.

Frank Stevens, vice president for MRO Services at Embraer Services & Support, said the company would continue expanding “capacity, capabilities, and footprint” in North America and globally.

The agreement covers support for the Phenom 100 and 300 series, Praetor 500 and 600, and Legacy 450 and 500 aircraft, according to Embraer.

The announcement reflects growing emphasis among aircraft manufacturers on strengthening aftermarket services, a segment increasingly viewed as critical for customer retention and long-term revenue. For operators, expanded maintenance coverage can help improve aircraft availability, reduce downtime, and support operational reliability.

Execaire Aviation, one of Canada’s established business aviation providers, operates nine bases and fixed-base operations across the country, offering services including aircraft management, charter, and maintenance.

Embraer said the partnership forms part of its broader support network, which includes more than 80 authorized service centers worldwide and supports customers in over 100 countries.

Industry observers say expanded maintenance networks are becoming increasingly important as manufacturers compete not only on aircraft sales but also on lifecycle support, particularly in the business aviation market. The agreement could also support growth in Embraer’s executive jet fleet in Canada as operators seek broader service coverage.
