Brazilian planemaker Embraer delivered 66 aircraft in the third quarter of 2026, the company's best performance for the period in its history, according to a statement released on Friday.
Deliveries rose 6 percent from the same quarter last year and 2 percent from the previous quarter, Embraer said. The company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and Brazil's B3 exchange under the ticker EMBJ and EMBJ3 respectively.
In the first nine months of 2026, Embraer delivered a total of 175 aircraft, 14 percent more than the 153 delivered in the same period of 2025. The company attributed the growth to continued progress in its production leveling initiatives.
Embraer said the programme has gradually reduced the concentration of deliveries in the second half of the year over the past two years.
Commercial Aviation
The commercial aviation unit delivered 22 new aircraft in the quarter, made up of 11 E175 jets and 11 aircraft from the E2 family. That was up 10 percent from the 20 aircraft delivered in both the previous quarter and the third quarter of 2025.
Executive Aviation
Embraer handed over 41 new business jets during the quarter, unchanged from a year earlier.
Defense & Security
The defense and security division delivered three aircraft: one KC-390 Millennium multi-mission military transport and two A-29 Super Tucano aircraft. It had delivered one aircraft in the same period last year.
Full-year outlook
Embraer said it continues to expect 80 to 85 deliveries in commercial aviation in 2026, which would put the midpoint 6 percent higher than the previous year. In executive aviation, it expects 160 to 170 deliveries, with the midpoint also up 6 percent year-on-year.
Headquartered in Brazil, Embraer has businesses in commercial and executive aviation, defense and security, and agricultural aviation. Founded in 1969, the company says it has delivered more than 9,000 aircraft. It describes itself as the leading manufacturer of commercial jets with up to 150 seats.
