Embraer said Tuesday its Phenom 300EV has received certification from Brazil's Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (ANAC), the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), making it the first light jet certified with Garmin Emergency Autoland.

The aircraft, introduced in July as an "evolution" of Embraer's best-selling Phenom 300 series, is also the largest business jet so far equipped with the Autoland system, according to the manufacturer.

The technology can be activated manually by a passenger or triggered automatically if it detects the pilot is unable to fly, selecting an airport and runway, communicating with air traffic control, and completing the approach, landing and stop without pilot input.

"Achieving triple certification is a testament to the dedication of our teams and Embraer's disciplined approach to engineering excellence and execution," said Michael Amalfitano, President and CEO of Embraer Executive Jets.

The Phenom 300EV is built around Embraer's Garmin G3000-based Prodigy Touch flight deck and introduces a Multi-Purpose Electronic Controller developed by the company to support new electronically controlled functions, including autobrake and rudder-by-wire controls.

The aircraft also features autothrottle, Emergency Descent Mode and Embraer's Runway Overrun Awareness and Alerting System, along with performance updates such as increased payload capacity and new cabin amenities.

With regulatory approval now secured across the three major markets, the aircraft is cleared for operation in the United States, Europe and Brazil. Embraer said deliveries of the Phenom 300EV are expected to begin in 2028.

The Phenom 300 series has been the most-delivered light jet for 12 consecutive years, according to the manufacturer.
