Emirates and Dubai Chambers have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at supporting the international growth of Dubai-based small and medium enterprises (SMEs), the airline said in a statement.

The partnership seeks to help Dubai's small businesses and startups enter international markets and global supply chains, according to the statement.

The MoU was signed by Adnan Kazim, Emirates Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, and Khalid AlJarwan, Executive Vice President of Commercial and Corporate Services at Dubai Chambers. The signing took place at Seamless Middle East 2026.

Under the agreement, Emirates SkyCargo will provide members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers under the Dubai Chambers umbrella, with access to logistics solutions. Emirates said SkyCargo will draw on its cross-border logistics expertise, its network spanning six continents, and its wide-body fleet to help Dubai companies plan their international expansion.

SMEs and startups will also be able to use Emirates Courier Express, SkyCargo's international door-to-door shipping product, which Emirates described as offering fast, secure, and cost-effective express transport and clearance options.

The agreement also includes incentives through Emirates Business Rewards, the airline's rewards programme for small and medium-sized organisations. Dubai Chamber of Commerce members who join the programme for the first time will receive a welcome bonus of 2,000 points.

Emirates Business Rewards and Dubai Chambers will also work together on member engagement, including joint participation in events and promotional activities. These initiatives will give eligible customers opportunities to earn rewards on Dubai Chambers-related services. Over time, we will develop additional benefits.

Emirates SkyCargo and Dubai Chambers will also jointly develop support frameworks for startups, including workshops, knowledge-sharing platforms, and tailored cargo advisory programmes to improve supply chain efficiency.

Emirates SkyCargo transports cargo to more than 150 destinations across six continents, using a fleet of Boeing 777, Airbus A380 and Airbus A350 wide-body aircraft as well as dedicated Boeing 777-F and 777-300ERSF freighters, according to the airline.

Dubai Chambers is a non-profit public entity. It comprises Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Dubai International Chamber and Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, formed under a restructuring announced in March 2021.
