Dubai-based flydubai will resume flights between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Skopje International Airport (SKP) in North Macedonia from April 1, 2027, the airline said in a press release on November 2.
The airline will operate three flights a week, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with Business Class and Economy Class on board. It said the route will take its European network to 34 destinations.
Flight FZ 1763 will leave Dubai Terminal 3 at 9:55 am and arrive in Skopje at 1:30 pm. Return flight FZ 1764 will depart Skopje at 2:30 pm and arrive in Dubai at 9:45 pm. All times are local.
Return Business Class fares from Dubai start from AED 12,500 and Economy Class Lite from AED 2,800. From Skopje, return Business Class fares start from EUR 3,000 and Economy Class Lite from EUR 580.
flydubai Chief Executive Officer Ghaith Al Ghaith said connectivity âunlocks opportunities for tourism, trade and cultural exchange,â adding that the return of Skopje reflects the airlineâs commitment to linking markets with limited direct services to Dubai.
Jeyhun Efendi, the airlineâs Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations and E-commerce, said Europe remains an important part of its network strategy. He said the route offers leisure and business travellers, and the Macedonian diaspora in Australia and Asia, a one-stop option through Dubai.
Under flydubaiâs codeshare partnership with Emirates, passengers can connect at Terminal 3 to destinations on both airlinesâ networks, with a single booking and through-checked baggage. From Skopje, onward points include Australia, Shanghai and Singapore with Emirates, and Bangkok, Colombo and Zanzibar on flydubai.
The airline said Skopje follows recent launches to Bangkok, Benghazi and Pokhara. Tickets can be booked on flydubai.com, the airlineâs app, its contact centre, travel shops and travel partners.
