Four Bangladeshi nationals were wounded Wednesday when drones and missiles struck Kuwait International Airport amid heightened regional tensions in West Asia, the Bangladesh Embassy in Kuwait said.
The attack, which occurred on June 3, 2026, also left several other foreign nationals injured and one person dead, the embassy said in an emergency notice circulated on Wednesday.
The four wounded Bangladeshis have been admitted to Farwaniya Hospital, where embassy officials are closely monitoring their condition.
The embassy urged all Bangladeshi expatriates in Kuwait to refrain from filming or photographing such incidents and from uploading footage to social media, warning that doing so constitutes a serious offence under Kuwaiti law.
The embassy also flagged a critical shortage of blood supplies at Kuwait's Central Blood Bank, calling on eligible Bangladeshi residents to donate blood urgently and encourage others to do the same.
