From fragrant mustard fish to rich prawn malai curry, Shorote Rosonabilash brings the warmth of traditional Bengali kitchens to Dhaka's luxury dining scene.
The irresistible aromas of traditional Bengali cooking filled Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre as its signature culinary festival, Shorote Rosonabilash, returned with a celebration of authentic flavours, autumn festivities and heartfelt hospitality.
Held from October 18 to 24 at Attitude Restaurant, the weeklong dinner buffet offered food enthusiasts a nostalgic journey through Bengal's rich culinary heritage.
Inspired by the comforting flavours of home-cooked family meals, the festival featured an enticing selection of mustard fish curry, creamy prawn malai curry, slow-cooked kosha mangsho and freshly prepared luchi.
Traditional vegetable dishes, steamed rice and irresistible Bengali sweets completed the elaborate gastronomic experience.
Bengali-themed decorations and seasonal touches created a festive ambience, inviting families and friends to reconnect over familiar flavours.
Returning after the popularity of its earlier edition, Shorote Rosonabilash reflected growing appreciation for traditional cuisine within Dhaka's contemporary hospitality scene.
The buffet was priced at Tk 8,200 per person, with selected bank cardholders enjoying a special buy-one-get-three offer.
Beyond indulgent dining, the festival celebrated Bangladesh's culinary identity, highlighting how authentic regional cuisine can enrich hospitality experiences and strengthen the country's appeal as a culinary tourism destination.
