InterContinental Dhaka is set to launch a special culinary celebration honouring the FIFA World Cup 2026, with ambassadors from several countries expected to attend the inauguration ceremony on Wednesday (24 June).

The "World Cup Flavours" event, scheduled to kick off at 5:45 pm at the hotel's Elements Global Dining restaurant, will bring together representatives of the international diplomatic community in a celebration blending football fever with world cuisines.

The initiative seems to be a nod to the cultural diversity of the countries taking part in the month-long tournament, giving guests a culinary journey linked to the world’s biggest sporting event.

The InterContinental Dhaka, in the diplomatic zone of the capital, is a regular venue for high-profile international events.
