InterContinental Dhaka will host the inaugural ‘Sensation Presents Incredible Weddings Festival’, powered by Mutual Trust Bank PLC, on July 31 and August 1.

The two-day event will take place at the hotel’s Ruposhi Bangla Grand Ballroom and Winter Garden, bringing together wedding and lifestyle brands offering products and services related to wedding planning.

The festival, the first of its kind hosted by InterContinental Dhaka, will feature wedding packages and offers from the hotel and participating partners, along with wedding décor, bridal and groom fashion, jewellery, honeymoon planning, photography and cinematography, beauty and grooming, banking, interior design, home appliances, footwear, watches, wedding stationery, cosmetics and luxury automobiles.

Participating brands include Sarah Karim Couture, Zurhem, Fiero, Amisheè, Firsttrip, Dream Weaver, Persona Hair & Beauty, Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited, Sony-Smart, Aandromeda, Hourglass Emporium, Save the Date, Herlan New York, Sundora and Mercedes-Benz Bangladesh.

Sensation will also provide free consultations with specialist doctors on pre-marital life, health and family planning.

The programme will include cultural performances, a fashion show by Azra Mahmood Talent Camp, a Qawwali performance by Zaleo and a raffle draw. Prizes will include a Dhaka–Bangkok–Dhaka round-trip air ticket for a couple, among other rewards.

As part of the event, Elements Global Dining at InterContinental Dhaka will offer a special wedding-themed dinner from July 29 to August 1. The menu will include mutton kacchi biryani, chicken roast, assorted kebabs and other traditional wedding dishes. Selected partner bank cardholders will also be eligible for a ‘Buy 1 Get 3’ dining offer.

The festival was unveiled at a press conference held at InterContinental Dhaka. The festival will be open to all visitors free of charge. It will remain open from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm on both July 31 and August 1.
