Korean Air has finalised an order for 103 Boeing aircraft spanning the manufacturer's widebody and single-aisle families, Boeing said in a statement Wednesday.

The order comprises 20 777-9, 25 787-10, 50 737-10 and eight 777-8 Freighter aircraft, according to the statement. It confirms a procurement commitment Korean Air made in August 2025 to purchase the same number of jets as part of a fleet modernisation plan.

Boeing described the deal as a tangible outcome of bilateral trade negotiations between the United States and South Korea, saying it underscores the strength of the industrial alliance between the two countries.

The order was marked at a ceremony in Seoul attended by Korean Air Chairman and CEO Walter Cho, Boeing Commercial Airplanes President and CEO Stephanie Pope, and CFM International President and CEO Gael Meheust, along with senior government and financial officials, the statement said. Those present included U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Michelle Steel and South Korea's Minister of Trade, Industry and Resources, Kim Jung-kwan.

Boeing, listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker BA, describes itself as a leading global aerospace company and the United States' top exporter, manufacturing commercial airplanes, defence products and space systems for customers in more than 150 countries.
