Malaysia Airlines will resume scheduled flights to and from Jeddah and Madinah in Saudi Arabia from Sunday, the airline said, following a safety review and operational risk assessment.
The airline said the decision came after a comprehensive review. In a press release, it said flights on both routes would restart effective Oct 18, 2026.
Passengers travelling to or from the two cities were advised to check their flight schedules and make sure their contact details are up to date through the âMy Bookingâ section of the airlineâs website or mobile app. Those who booked through third-party platforms or travel agents were asked to contact their booking providers directly about their travel arrangements.
For help, customers can use Live Chat on the website or call the Global Contact Centre at 1 300 88 3000 within Malaysia or +603 7843 3000 from overseas.
The airline thanked passengers for their patience and understanding during the temporary suspensions. It said it continues to monitor developments in the region closely and that the safety and security of passengers and crew remain its top priority.
