Masud Rumee, Deputy editor and head of the Business of Kaler Kantho, and Kumar Bishwajit Roy, senior reporter of Bangladesh Television (BTV), were elected president and general secretary, respectively, of the Technology Media Guild Bangladesh (TMGB) for the 2026–2028 term.

Chief Election Commissioner Hasan Hafiz, president of the National Press Club, announced the new committee today following the organisation's biennial election at the club, said a press release.  

Golam Dustogir Touhid of techvision24.com was elected vice-president, Badruddoza Mahmud Tuhin of DigiBangla joint secretary, Mahadi Hasan Shimul of RTV treasurer, Rashed Imam of techshohor.com organising secretary and Farhana Huq Nila of sarabangla.net publicity and training secretary.

Outgoing president Mohammad Kawsar Uddin of Daily Sangbad and Enamul Haque Majumder of the Business Standard were elected executive members.
