Aeromexico, Mexico's national carrier, has been ranked the world's most punctual airline with a 90.02% on-time arrival rate, according to Cirium's 2025 On-Time Performance Review.

Mexican flag carrier operated 1 lakh 88 thousand 859 flights while maintaining 99.96% flight tracking and a 99.74% completion factor. Aeromexico also achieved the highest on-time departure rate at 91.88% among global carriers.

Saudi Arabia's national airline Saudia claimed second position with 86.53% punctuality across 2 lakh 2 thousand 864 flights. Carrier maintained 98.46% tracking rate and 99.68% completion factor, demonstrating strong operational reliability.

Scandinavian Airlines ranked third with 86.09% on-time arrivals from 2 lakh 49 thousand 674 operations. Brazilian carrier Azul secured fourth place at 85.18% punctuality across 3 lakh 4 thousand 625 flights.

Qatar Airways, frequently used by Bangladeshi travellers, ranked fifth with 84.42% on-time performance from 1 lakh 98 thousand 303 flights. Middle Eastern carrier recorded 84.81 percent on-time departures.

Spanish airline Iberia placed sixth with 83.52% punctuality from 1 lakh 88 thousand 447 flights. LATAM Airlines ranked seventh at 82.40 percent across 5 lakh 80 thousand 707 operations, while Colombian carrier Avianca secured eighth position with 81.73% from 2 lakh 66 thousand 921 flights.

Turkish Airlines, another popular choice for Bangladeshi passengers, ranked ninth with 81.41% on-time arrivals across 4 lakh 21 thousand 87 flights. Delta Air Lines completed the top ten at 80.90%, operating the highest volume with 18 lakh 86 flights.

Global analysis covered 44 lakh 1 thousand 573 flights, with top performers averaging 84.22% on-time arrivals and 99.63% successful tracking. Report highlights punctuality as crucial indicator of airline operational reliability, particularly important for Bangladeshi passengers planning international journeys.
