Nepal, Bangladesh discuss expanding air connectivity and affordable airfares

Ambassador of Nepal to Bangladesh, Ghanashyam Bhandari, met with the Chairman of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Rumee Hossain, and the airline’s Managing Director and CEO, Kaizer Sohail Ahmed, on Wednesday morning to discuss strengthening aviation links between Nepal and Bangladesh.

During the meeting, the officials explored opportunities to enhance air connectivity between the two countries, including the possibility of expanding Biman’s operations to Nepal’s newly developed international airports.

They also exchanged views on making Biman Bangladesh airfares on the Dhaka–Kathmandu route more affordable for travelers.
