The Embassy of Nepal in Bangladesh is set to host a vibrant "Nepal Festival" in Dhaka tomorrow (May 15), bringing a rich showcase of Nepali culture, cuisine, and performing arts to the capital.

The festival will be held at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and is expected to draw a large turnout of culture enthusiasts, food lovers, and members of the diplomatic community.

According to the embassy, the event will feature two main segments—a Food Fest running from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, offering visitors an authentic taste of traditional Nepali cuisine, followed by a Cultural Program from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, highlighting Nepal's diverse performing arts traditions through music and dance.

"Join us for an evening of authentic Nepali cuisine, cultural performances, and music as we celebrate the enduring friendship between Nepal and Bangladesh," the embassy said.

The festival is being organised as part of efforts to strengthen people-to-people ties between Nepal and Bangladesh and to promote Nepal's rich cultural heritage among the Bangladeshi public.
