Qatar Airways, Uber partner on corporate travel

Qatar Airways has launched a partnership with Uber for Business aimed at improving the corporate travel experience, the airline said, describing it as the first tie-up of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Under the partnership, members of Qatar Airways' corporate travel programme, Beyond Business, can redeem loyalty rewards known as Qrewards for Uber ride vouchers, which are credited directly to a user's Uber wallet for use during business travel.

The airline said the integration extends its corporate offering beyond air travel, giving businesses greater flexibility in managing end-to-end journeys and providing travellers with access to ground transportation alongside existing priority services.

It said the collaboration would also give businesses more opportunity to track and control travel spending through Uber for Business's central dashboard, which offers automated expensing and policy-compliance tools for travel managers.

According to Qatar Airways, Beyond Business members also have access to free high-speed Wi-Fi on up to 323 Starlink-enabled daily flights, as well as Qrewards, Privilege Club tier benefits, and priority baggage handling.

Qatar Airways did not name any individual spokesperson in its announcement of the partnership. The airline currently flies to more than 160 destinations worldwide from its Doha hub, Hamad International Airport.
