The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority has refuted reports circulating on social media claiming that Qatar's airspace has been closed or that flight operations have been suspended, describing the information as inaccurate. 

In a notice issued on Sunday, the authority confirmed that air traffic operations in the State of Qatar continue as normal and that no decision has been taken to close the country's airspace.
