The Bangladesh High Commission in the Maldives will dispatch a consular team to Addu City from January 02 to 03, 2026, to offer services to Bangladeshi expatriates residing in Addu and neighboring islands.

On December 22, 2025, the Bangladesh High Commission disseminated an amended notice announcing revised dates for consular services.

The visiting team will accept and process applications for e-passports, Machine Readable Passports (MRP), and Wage Earners’ Welfare Board membership cards during their visit.

The notice requested that interested applicants be present with their online application forms, necessary documents, and prescribed fees at the appointed time.
