Riyadh Air launches London flights, loyalty scheme

Riyadh Air has launched daily Heathrow services using its Boeing 787-9 'Jamila' on 26 October, while unveiling Sfeer, a groundbreaking loyalty programme where members share status with family and friends.

Flights depart Riyadh at 0315 (RX401), landing London Heathrow at 0730, with returns leaving at 0930 (RX402) and touching down Riyadh at 1915. Initially available to staff and select guests, the runs secure operational polish before full Boeing deliveries and Dubai routes follow suit.

CEO Tony Douglas hailed the milestones as key to readiness. “These sequenced flights utilise our new Heathrow slot and ensure we’re flight-perfect,” he said. More winter 2025 and summer 2026 destinations will drop in weeks.

Sfeer lets members pool tier points across households, boosting everyone’s level. Sign-ups are live at www.riyadhair.com; first joiners enter ‘The Founders’ club for priority bookings and upcoming perks.

PIF-backed carrier aims to link Saudi Arabia globally, with London marking its maiden scheduled hop.
