Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree approving the general organisational structure of the Sharjah International Airport Authority, UAE state news agency WAM reported.

Under the decree, the Sharjah Executive Council will issue decisions approving the Authority's detailed organisational structure, along with other necessary decisions to implement the decree, according to WAM.

These include approving job descriptions and duties for the Authority's organisational units in line with their respective competencies, as well as establishing, merging, or abolishing any organisational units within the departments covered by the general structure, the decree states.
