The Embassy of Sweden in Dhaka has issued a warning to individuals in Bangladesh to be cautious of fraudulent employment documents and scams that are associated with job opportunities in Sweden.
In a post on its official Facebook page, the embassy said it frequently receives inquiries regarding suspected fake employment documents used for job offers in Sweden and urged prospective workers to carefully verify information before taking any steps.
The mission emphasized that only the Swedish Migration Agency has the authority to decide whether a residence permit will be granted, warning that no individual or intermediary can guarantee such approvals.
It also encouraged applicants to stay informed through official channels and consult the migration agencyâs website (https://www.migrationsverket.se/.../avoid-being-scammed.html)for guidance on how to avoid immigration-related scams.
