THE WAY Dhaka, a boutique hotel in the capital, has won the Leading Boutique Hotel Award at the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2026.
The awards were held on October 8 at Barceló Nasandhura Malé in the Maldives, according to a press release issued by the hotel.
Asif Ahmed, general manager of THE WAY Dhaka, received the award on behalf of the property. The hotel is operated by Gateway Hospitality and Realty Management Limited.
The WAY Dhaka said the award recognises the hotel’s focus on a boutique experience built around comfort, individuality, and attentive service. It described the honour as an important achievement for the hotel and a proud moment for Bangladesh’s growing hospitality sector.
“Hospitality is about more than providing a place to stay. It is about creating an atmosphere where thoughtful details, warm service, and guest comfort come together to make every stay meaningful,” the press release said.
It added that the recognition reinforces the hotel’s commitment to these principles and its ambition to keep raising standards in boutique hospitality.
The hotel said the award also highlights the place of Bangladesh’s hospitality sector within the wider South Asian travel and tourism industry and shows the potential of homegrown hotel brands to earn recognition at the regional level.
Located in Gulshan-2, THE WAY Dhaka offers accommodation, dining, and other hospitality services for both business and leisure travellers. The hotel is known for its contemporary design, intimate ambience, and personalised guest services.
The hotel thanked its guests, partners, and staff for their continued trust and support and said it would work to further strengthen its reputation for quality service.
The 10th edition of SATA brought together the travel and hospitality industry from across South Asia to celebrate excellence and innovation.
