The Westin Dhaka has launched 'Taste of Arabia', a 10-day Arabian food festival showcasing authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, in collaboration with Prime Partner BRAC Bank PLC.

According to a press release, the festival, scheduled to run from July 30 to August 8, will take place at Seasonal Taste, the hotel's signature all-day dining restaurant, offering guests an immersive culinary experience inspired by the diverse flavours and traditions of the Arab world.

The festival was officially inaugurated today through a press meet and meet-and-greet event held at Prego on Level 23 of The Westin Dhaka. The event was attended by diplomats, corporate leaders, aviation partners, media representatives and invited guests.

Among those present were the Ambassador of Egypt to Bangladesh, Omar Mohie Eldin Ahmed Fahmy; Director of the Foreign Aid Office at the UAE Embassy in Bangladesh, Rashed Al-Mali Al-Zaabi; Chief Executive Officer of Unique Hotel & Resorts PLC Md. Shakawath Hossain; Country Manager of Air Arabia Bangladesh Syed Md. Mobin Rashid; General Manager of The Westin Dhaka and Sheraton Dhaka Gary Farstad; and Director of Sales and Marketing Mamunur Rahman Shumon. The inauguration concluded with a tasting session featuring dishes from the festival menu.

To ensure authenticity, Egyptian chef Mahmud Abdel Fattah has joined Executive Chef Shopon Rozario and The Westin Dhaka's culinary team to prepare a menu highlighting traditional Arabian cuisine. The buffet includes signature dishes such as Camel Kabsa, Camel Tagine, Sultan's Camel Majboos, Lamb Quzi, Chicken Mandi, mixed grills, live Döner Kebab and Shawarma stations, alongside a variety of mezze, freshly baked Arabic bread and traditional desserts.

The buffet dinner will be served daily from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm at BDT 9,450 net per person.

As part of the festival, BRAC Bank PLC is offering promotional dining benefits, including Buy 1 Get 3, Buy 1 Get 2, and Buy 1 Get 1 Free offers on selected BRAC Bank cards, along with offers for cardholders of 22 partner banks.
