US-Bangla unveils fleet expansion plans during Maldives partner event

US-Bangla Airlines recently hosted its âPartner Retreat Maldives 2025â at Sai Lagoon and Hard Rock Resort on Crossroad Island, Maldives, bringing together over 300 travel agents from across Bangladesh.
The
three-day event focused on strengthening collaboration, recognizing
top-performing partners, and sharing the airlineâs growth plans.
During the event, 40 travel agents were awarded certificates for outstanding performance in the past year.
The ceremony was attended by Managing Director Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, Kazi Wahidul Alam, editor of The Bangladesh Monitor, and Shafiqul Islam, Head of Sales and Marketing at US-Bangla Airlines.
Speaking at the retreat, Al Mamun said, âOur travel partners have been integral to US-Banglaâs success since our first flight in July 2014, and they will continue to play a crucial role in our future growth.â
He highlighted that US-Bangla currently operates flights on all domestic routes and 14 international routes across 10 Asian countries. The airlineâs fleet now includes 24 aircraft, with two Airbus A330-300s offering 436 seats each, and another A330-300 expected to join the fleet very soon.
Al Mamun also shared the airlineâs expansion plans, including the addition of 20 new aircraft in the coming years to strengthen international operations. Furthermore, US-Bangla continues its annual program to train 30 pilots and 30 engineers, ensuring a steady pipeline of skilled professionals to support fleet growth and operational excellence.
The
retreat reflects US-Banglaâs commitment to its partners, operational growth,
and continuous improvement in both service and safety standards, positioning
the airline for a stronger presence in regional and international markets.
