Waiting for Apple’s 2026 launches? iPhone 17e, budget MacBook And 3 more products tipped

As 2025 draws to a close and the holiday season approaches, Apple is wrapping up one of its busiest years yet. The company rolled out multiple major products, from the iPhone 16e to the ultra-slim iPhone Air, keeping the tech world on its toes.

Sales data suggests the iPhone 17 series is already setting new records, underscoring strong consumer demand. With momentum firmly on its side, Apple appears poised to carry this pace into 2026 without slowing down.

Rather than slowing down, Apple is preparing for an even more aggressive launch cycle at the start of 2026. The company is expected to expand its affordable lineup with the iPhone 17e, introduce long-awaited upgrades to the iPad Mini, refresh the entry-level iPad, and debut a budget MacBook aimed at students.

These launches suggest Apple is targeting a wider audience while keeping its premium momentum intact, with more announcements likely to follow early in the year.

The iPhone 17e is tipped to arrive in February 2026 as the successor to the iPhone 16e, continuing Apple’s push in the affordable iPhone segment. It is expected to feature the A19 chipset, offering improved performance, along with an upgraded 18-megapixel Centre Stage selfie camera. While slimmer bezels are likely, the notch and the single 48-megapixel rear camera are expected to remain unchanged.

On the tablet side, Apple is reportedly bringing OLED technology to more iPads, with the iPad Mini 8 expected to be next in line. Launching in early 2026, the compact tablet may feature an OLED display, the A19 Pro chipset, and a water-resistant design, though the refresh rate may stay at 60Hz. Alongside it, the 12th-generation iPad is expected to launch with an A19 chip, while retaining most of its existing specifications and a similar price point.

Apple’s Mac lineup could also see a major shift with the introduction of a budget MacBook powered by an iPhone chipset, likely the A18 Pro. Aimed at students and budget-conscious users, it may feature a smaller display and a starting price of around $599. In parallel, Apple is expected to bring the new M5 chipset to the MacBook Air in early 2026, focusing on performance and efficiency upgrades, while major design changes and OLED displays may be reserved for later years.
