World Travelers Club elected new leadership for 2026-28

 World Travelers Club elected new leadership for 2026-28

World Travelers Club conducted its leadership election on February 14 in Dhaka, with Mohammad Jalaluddin Tipu assuming office as President for the 2026-2028 term.


Election was held in presence of Founder President Rezaul Ekram Razu, Immediate Past President Tuhida Runu, former board members and senior club members. Tarek Abu Ala, Ex-President of CCCL, attended the handover ceremony.


Ten members were elected to Board of Directors including Khadija Akhtar, Sheikh Sadi Khan, Nazmul Haque Kabir, Engineer Nazrul Islam, Nusrat Yasmin Tisha, Engineer Mohsin, Amal Ghosh, Kamrul Hasan, Asif Khan and Asit Kumar Banerjee.


New President thanked members for their confidence during his remarks. He reaffirmed commitment to strengthening governance and enhancing member engagement. Tipu highlighted plans to complete the club's planned 10-storey modern facility in Purbachal as a key priority.


Newly elected Board pledged to uphold transparency, accountability and strategic growth as the travel club moves into its next development phase. Board will serve until 2028 under the new leadership structure.


World Travelers Club represents community of travel enthusiasts in Bangladesh focused on promoting tourism, cultural exchange and member networking through organized activities and events.
