The U.S. Embassy in Dhaka on Sunday announced the opening of applications for the prestigious Fulbright Foreign Student Program, offering fully funded master’s degree opportunities at universities in the United States starting in Fall 2027.

In a notice posted on its verified Facebook page, the embassy invited qualified Bangladeshi candidates to apply for the programme, which covers full tuition, travel costs, and living expenses for up to two years of academic study.

The Fulbright programme, one of the world’s leading educational exchange initiatives, supports around 4,000 scholars annually from more than 160 countries and fosters academic collaboration and cross-cultural exchange.

Applicants selected under the scheme will pursue graduate studies across a range of disciplines at U.S. institutions, with the funding package designed to ease financial barriers for international students.

The embassy said the application deadline is July 11, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. local time, urging prospective candidates to review eligibility criteria and submission requirements through its official channels.
