Regional civil aviation chiefs will gather in the Malaysian capital in September for a major conference focused on emerging technologies shaping the future of flight, organisers said Thursday.
The 61st Conference of Directors General of Civil Aviation for the Asia and Pacific Region (DGCA/61) will be held from September 7 to 11 at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) said.
Held under the theme "Smart Skies: Emerging Technologies for Safe, Secure, Sustainable, and Efficient Aviation," the conference will serve as a strategic platform for directors general of civil aviation across the region to exchange views on priorities, emerging challenges, and collaborative approaches to strengthening the sector.
Attendance is limited to invited officials, but a parallel exhibition will offer industry partners the opportunity to showcase innovative solutions supporting aviation growth, with a limited number of exhibition spots available.
